ANTITRUST STATEMENT

As participants in this meeting, we need to be mindful of the constraints of antitrust laws. There shall be no discussions of agreements or concerted actions that may restrain competition. This prohibition includes the exchange of information concerning individual prices, rates, coverages, market practices, claims settlement practices, or any other competitive aspect of an individual company’s operation. Each participant is obligated to speak up immediately for the purpose of preventing any discussion falling outside these bounds.

    • Dan thinks he may talk too much; but the notes were only showing detail because we knew we would have a week off and we would need a good refresher.

  • Additional Properties True vs False

    • We have different options available, but we need to make sure that we do not pick an option that makes it harder for integrations to implemented.

    • Does CIECA need a faster release schedule for CAPIS to keep up with customer implementation needs.

      • With our tooling and our testing, we do not need to wait to move releases in and could do more releases a year.

    • CIECA members need to bring request to CIECA to help provide the industry with the data and messages that are needed.

    • Additional Properties needs to be false during development.

    • We can have different versions one for members that has additional properties False and one with additional properties true.

    • We can use a Certification that is like forward compatibility.

      • Members are going to use CIECA, but we don’t have to say it's a hard standard, it can be a certification.

    • We did not come to a conclusion, this will need to come up at a later time.

  • CAPIS Next Release

    • CONNEX is coming soon and we want to have a new release for our membership to discuss.

    • Mike has done a great deal of work and has the work in GitHub, we ask everyone to look at this so we can review it and this will be our next release.

    • At this time, the next release will just include the work that Mike has worked on and not include other changes.
