ANTITRUST STATEMENT

As participants in this meeting, we need to be mindful of the constraints of antitrust laws. There shall be no discussions of agreements or concerted actions that may restrain competition. This prohibition includes the exchange of information concerning individual prices, rates, coverages, market practices, claims settlement practices, or any other competitive aspect of an individual company’s operation. Each participant is obligated to speak up immediately for the purpose of preventing any discussion falling outside these bounds.

  • Next week is CIC/SEMA and we will not be having a meeting.

  • Reviewed Webinar Slides

    • Paulette will present BMS Changes

    • Dan and Jeff will discuss CAPIS and the implementations they are using.

    • Mike will demo Stoplight and Postman with the CIECA Standards

    • Andy will demo Microsoft Vs Code and Oxygen with the CIECA Standards

    • Removed slide on other industry tools due to the fact that we have not used and proven these to work with CIECA Standards

    • Paulette will present Reference page and try to get more people using the Support page.

  • 2024R1

    • CIECA Staff would like to work on the Estimate and the Assignment and keep in mind that these API messages will help companies more away from the EMS.

    • We would like to promote the API Estimate as a simple way to move off the EMS and for new companies to use the API messages instead of the EMS.

      • The BMS seems very complex to new companies joining CIECA and the EMS is still implemented by new members.

    • The Committee likes the idea of working on the Estimate and Assignment next.

      • The committee would like the VDI committee to reform and start working on these messages and maybe share implementations they have, and the architecture could approve this work instead of being the sole engineers and architects.

      • We will kick off on next steps for 2024R1 next meeting.
