ANTITRUST STATEMENT

As participants in this meeting, we need to be mindful of the constraints of antitrust laws. There shall be no discussions of agreements or concerted actions that may restrain competition. This prohibition includes the exchange of information concerning individual prices, rates, coverages, market practices, claims settlement practices, or any other competitive aspect of an individual company’s operation. Each participant is obligated to speak up immediately for the purpose of preventing any discussion falling outside these bounds.

  • Recap of work on EMS to BMS to CAPIS

    • Recap of CAPIS and the guidelines and the explanation of the “Chris Poulos” document.

      • We have several committees and industry leaders developing API messages and we want to provide a quick sheet of the recommendations that the EMS and BMS fields naming structure.

      • Being in this list does not mean that the fields will be included in the CAPIS data dictionary, due to zero based budgeting. However, if a committee or CIECA member would like to use the elements, it is good to have the name provided.

  • Webinar Presentation

    • A rough draft is being created of the slides and we will get together to discuss.

  • CIC is next week, which means Architecture committee will be cancelled.

  • New APIs

    • Salvage is working with insurance companies to create new APIs; Chris will try to get fields that are not in the BMS and recommend them for CAPIS.

  • Reviewed the API creation process.

    • Need gets brought to CIECA.

    • Committees review the request and propose to Architecture.

    • Architecture recommends changes or approves.

    • Moved into a Release

  • Assigned Homework

    • Dan to do Estimate.

    • Mike to do Parts.

    • Chris to do Salvage.

    • Andy to do Authorizations.

    • Paulette to do FNOL.
