ANTITRUST STATEMENT

As participants in this meeting, we need to be mindful of the constraints of antitrust laws. There shall be no discussions of agreements or concerted actions that may restrain competition. This prohibition includes the exchange of information concerning individual prices, rates, coverages, market practices, claims settlement practices, or any other competitive aspect of an individual company’s operation. Each participant is obligated to speak up immediately for the purpose of preventing any discussion falling outside these bounds.

  • Start on Battery Lifecycle and identify search parameters to help the industry and the data required.

  • Personal invitations were sent to the OEMs that are active in the Emerging Technology Committee to join the Recycled Parts and Inventory Committee. The Confluence links that show the questions this committee has for the EV vehicle and battery and the Life Cycle of the EV car workflow was sent in the invite.

    • No word back from the OEMs yet

  • CIECA.com is going through renovations with a new page. The implementation Guides, Appendix C and the Workflows are being moved to the new page and a user will be able to see this information without signing into box or another app.

  • Reviewed the High level Life cycle workflow that was created previously by the RP&I Committee. We assume that we know more, or maybe we need to get into more detail. The committee will also review https://cieca.atlassian.net/l/c/uffFior3 before the next meeting to come up with changes or better ways to represent.

  • The Committee Members are going to meet off line to discuss the best approach and path and kickoff the next meeting with those as topics.

    • Get Analysis of data that ARA and UAG uses today.

    • The reuse of vehicles and battery should be a priority.

    • Secondary market to sell battery to that is no longer able to be used in a vehicle.

  • There are 179+ battery Repurposers today, this number is increasing fast and has funding from many sourced including the government. It would be nice to have this Industry represented in our committee. The Committee members will send Paulette information on possible interested parties from this industry to invite.

  • ARA is working on Glossary information that can be shared.

  • Ginny has a link that is available on the ARA site to be shared with this committee on the Repair
