ANTITRUST STATEMENT

As participants in this meeting, we need to be mindful of the constraints of antitrust laws. There shall be no discussions of agreements or concerted actions that may restrain competition. This prohibition includes the exchange of information concerning individual prices, rates, coverages, market practices, claims settlement practices, or any other competitive aspect of an individual company’s operation. Each participant is obligated to speak up immediately for the purpose of preventing any discussion falling outside these bounds.

    • Second Tuesday of the Month at 10am CST is still a good time to meet for the Committee through 2022

  • Semi Annual/Kickoff Meetings

    • In the past CIECA had Semi Annual Meetings to meet with Maintenance Mode Committees to inform them of the changes that were going on within CIECA and to reach out for any projects that may need to be worked on in the next release. CIECA started sharing the Release Content in CIECAST Webinars after the Release was completed. The need for the Semi-Annual meeting became a reach to find release work and there was very little response.

    • The New CIECA.com design and concepts of using Products instead of Committees to publish documentation, means that we need to start up all the committees to get feedback on the documentation. The Proposed Meetings were sent out to CIECA chairs to get feedback on dates and conflicts. At end of week, I will send out meeting invites to the Committees to get them on Calendars for next year.

      • These meetings will hope to bring cross committee discussion and identify any pain points with the current standards and documentation to help create solutions.

      • The cross-committee structure may be used when creating the APIs for CIECAS next generation of standards. For Products such as Assignment, Estimate, Procurement, there are many teams that use that product, and we want to make sure they all have part in creating the standards.

    • This committee can determine after January if we need these committee meetings or if the other cross over meetings will be enough.
