ANTITRUST STATEMENT

As participants in this meeting, we need to be mindful of the constraints of antitrust laws. There shall be no discussions of agreements or concerted actions that may restrain competition. This prohibition includes the exchange of information concerning individual prices, rates, coverages, market practices, claims settlement practices, or any other competitive aspect of an individual company’s operation. Each participant is obligated to speak up immediately for the purpose of preventing any discussion falling outside these bounds.

Minutes

  • The Antitrust statement was read and the meeting minutes were accepted.

  • CIECAST Webinars 2022/23

    • CMT reached out and is no longer able to present December 8 due to some changes to its business focus. It was decided that we would resume having CIECA webinars in January rather than finding another speaker for December. The executive committee was in agreement.

    • January: We reached out to Susanna Gotsch, CCC, and Sean Carey, SCG Management Consultants, to possibly present in January and give a “state of the industry” presentation.

    • February: We are looking at having Andy Boyd from 3M present about the Connected Body Shop, similar to his CONNEX presentation.

    • March: We reached out to Ryan Taylor, AMP Bureau, to present about breaking digital silos, similar to his CONNEX presentation.

    • April: We will have a technical presentation in April and include information about the 2023R1.

  • CONNEX Speakers 2023

    • Once the location, timing and theme is determined for CONNEX, the Education Committee will work on speakers for the conference.
