ANTITRUST STATEMENT
As participants in this meeting, we need to be mindful of the constraints of antitrust laws. There shall be no discussions of agreements or concerted actions that may restrain competition. This prohibition includes the exchange of information concerning individual prices, rates, coverages, market practices, claims settlement practices, or any other competitive aspect of an individual company’s operation. Each participant is obligated to speak up immediately for the purpose of preventing any discussion falling outside these bounds.

The Antitrust statement was read and the meeting minutes were accepted.
May CIECAST Webinar
Kyle Weber from State Farm was originally scheduled to share information about blockchain during a CIECAST webinar. He notified us that he has a new role at the company and introduced us to another individual who might be able to present for CIECA.
The panel panelists from the CONNEX Conference have shown interest in presenting and we’re working to confirm a date.
Paul suggested Pete Tagliapietra talk about the state of the industry and data pumps. Pete has confirmed he can present during a May CIECAST webinar. Paul and Stacey will discuss questions for him to address during his presentation.

Susanna Gotsch, CCC, is unable to present.
We’ve reached out to Greg Horn, Parts Trader, and will follow up.
Ryan Mandall, Mitchell International, is confirmed to speak about the the impact of electrification on the collision repair and insurance industries.
Pete Tagliapietra, DataTouch, is confirmed to speak about the state of data security in the collision industry.
3D printing: Don P. offered to share the name of a contact. We can also reach out to the contact from Wurth.
EVs: We’ve reached out to Rivian, Lucid Motors and Tesla to confirm a speaker.
EV batteries: We’ve reached out to Spiers and Redwood Materials and will follow up. Sandy also provided a list of contacts.
PAVE (Partners for Automated Vehicle Education): We met with executive director from PAVE and she is interested in having a representative present during the conference.
Ranken Technical College: We haven’t heard back from John Helterbrand but Kim confirmed that Mary Mahoney from Enterprise will be able to speak during the conference about technical training in the industry and/or electrification in the rental industry.
Greg Peeters, CAR ADAS, is confirmed to speak.
AI: Jonathan Pyle, Dents.co, is confirmed to speak. We are meeting with Amit Auroora from SwissRe next week. Jimmy Spears, Tractable, and Raj Pofale, Claim Genius, have both shown interest in speaking. They will be co-chairing CIECA’s AI committee and we can invite them to give an update during the conference.
Ryan Taylor, AMP Bureau, is confirmed to speak. We are meeting with him next week to discuss a topic.
OEM insurance: Ken Eagleson shared contact information for Mark Buffa, Tesla, and we’ve reached out. Lemonade isn’t available at this time.
Digitizing the claims experience: We will reach out to Russ Simms, Nationwide, to find out if Jim Fowler, EVP & Chief CTO, can speak.
3M is interested in speaking but needs to confirm who will participate.
James Palmer, Innovation Group, proposed to speak about managing customer expectations in a complex claims environment. Ryan Taylor might be able to present on a similar topic.
We reached out to John Eck, GM, to ask if he could present on OnStar and developments with telematics.
We met with Jonathan Herrera, Advantage Parts Solutions, about speaking during the conference and will follow up.
