      • shows current process of gas cars and what might be different with the EV

  • Review Goals

    • The end of life of an EV is being worked on my the industry and hopefully by February there will be some updates that can be provided.

      • recertification on total loss vehicles is needed due to 30% of vehicles sold through salvage auctions because what insurance deems end of life can still end up back on the road.

      • vehicles may be offered a new body shell for an EV and that's not something you see for Gas vehicles today.

        • Times studies have been done to complete swap harness, interior drive units, batteries to a new body shell.

  • ARA high voltage vehicle dismantling protocol that is part of their certification program. Safety handling of these vehicles and protecting the market for those components to go back into the marketplace.

    • Sandy will present in March.
