ANTITRUST STATEMENT

As participants in this meeting, we need to be mindful of the constraints of antitrust laws. There shall be no discussions of agreements or concerted actions that may restrain competition. This prohibition includes the exchange of information concerning individual prices, rates, coverages, market practices, claims settlement practices, or any other competitive aspect of an individual company’s operation. Each participant is obligated to speak up immediately for the purpose of preventing any discussion falling outside these bounds.

      • We do have a Tow Type Code List (Light Duty, Medium Duty, Heavy Duty, Motorcycle)

      • Tow has VehicleInfo, Additional Info and the Code List Values to say the type of Tow and category.

    • Vehicle Info

      • Has VIN but each manufacturer can use the codes to identify as they wish and they do not standardize electric or type

        • Tesla uses 7 for Battery Type and 8 for number of engines.

        • Mitsubishi uses 7 for Type of Vehicle and 8 for engine.

      • VehicleType under VehicleDescription (Passenger Car, Light Duty Tuck, Motorcycle)

      • Powertrain

        • Engine/Part/Options

        • Fuel Type Code list (Includes Electric and Hybrid)

  • Conclusion of Homework

    • VIN, the placement of the values has meanings, but the digits and the codes are manufacturer specific, so there is no way to say J in position 7 is for an EV.

    • To identify EV Add

      • Tow Type Code List add EV and Hybrid

      • Fuel Type Code List may need more specific additions so different type of EV and Hybrid (PlugIn)

      • Vehicle Type needs Electric Vehicle and Hybrid added

    • We need to Vehicle Weight to VehicleInfo in the BMS/API Data Specification, this will help with correct towing vehicles to be sent and help identify shops that have the equipment to handle these heavier vehicles. We need to make sure that the equipment is not only safe for the technicians but for the vehicles since they are normally flat on bottom and require special tools.

      • Rivian Truck weights around 7,200 pounds

      • Hummer weighs around 10,000 pounds

      • Lucid sedan weighs 5,200 pounds

    • Add a battery aggregate -

      • Serial Number

      • Drive Unit

      • Battery size

      • State of Health

      • State of Charge

    • The next release is only a couple weeks away and QA is next week, so these changes will be in the following release.

      • Architecture has talked about doing more releases a year.

  • Work on intake flow

    • Team would like to have presentation before we work on the intake flow

  • November meeting has been cancelled for SEMA

    • Committee selected to wait until December for next meeting.
