ANTITRUST STATEMENT

As participants in this meeting, we need to be mindful of the constraints of antitrust laws. There shall be no discussions of agreements or concerted actions that may restrain competition. This prohibition includes the exchange of information concerning individual prices, rates, coverages, market practices, claims settlement practices, or any other competitive aspect of an individual company’s operation. Each participant is obligated to speak up immediately for the purpose of preventing any discussion falling outside these bounds.

Minutes

  • The Antitrust statement was read and the meeting minutes were accepted.

  • Video script: The Education and Marketing Committees both read over and liked the new version of the script created by Paul. It was forwarded to the video company and they sent a new draft, which will be emailed to both committees.

  • CONNEX

    • Outstanding Presentations

      • OEM panel: Volkswagen and Ford have confirmed participation. Stacey reached out to Rivian again. Other options include GM (which we believe is unavailable due to dealer meetings), Audi, BMW and Lucid Motors.

      • MSO panel: Ashley Denison, Caliber, has confirmed participation. We’ve reached out to the IT director at Service King and the pr contacts at Driven Brands. Steve Betley also reached out to CARSTAR. We are waiting for confirmation on a speaker from one of the larger MSOs. Other options include 1Collision, CCG and smaller MSOs.

    • Confirmed Presenters: Speakers names and bios have been added to the CIECA conference website.

    • Sponsors/Presenters Codes: Paul created promotional codes for the sponsors and presenters. Sponsors have already received the link and code. They must apply the code in order for the sponsor option to appear.

  • Since the presenters have been found and the CIECAST webinars have been booked over the next several months, we will be canceling the Education Committee meeting for next week. We will reevaluate the cadence of the meetings after the CONNEX Planning Committee meeting is held.
