ANTITRUST STATEMENT

As participants in this meeting, we need to be mindful of the constraints of antitrust laws. There shall be no discussions of agreements or concerted actions that may restrain competition. This prohibition includes the exchange of information concerning individual prices, rates, coverages, market practices, claims settlement practices, or any other competitive aspect of an individual company’s operation. Each participant is obligated to speak up immediately for the purpose of preventing any discussion falling outside these bounds.

    • Add Bill To Percent

      • Under the aggregate <Facts> that is part of Assignment and Estimate, we have a field <LiabilityPct> with the description The percentage liability for the loss. We believe this field is what is requested in the previous meeting minutes.

    • Add a field for Deductible waived

      • Under the aggregate <DeductibleInfo> we have a field <DeductibleStatus> that is required Closed Enum. The values allowed are:

        • AV - Actual Cash Value

        • B7 - Estimated Deductible

        • D2 - Deductible Amount

        • DX - Waived

        • FK - Unknown

        • PH - Per Occurrence

        • RD - Reverse deductible or Texas Deductible endorsement

        • SB - Stated Amount

        • ZZ - None

  • Reviewed the EMS to BMS to CAPIS Conversion

  • This committee will be looking at the Vehicle Damage Assignment, we will not focus on Rental or towing and the other versions of Assignment.

  • Business Use Cases

    • If any members have Business Use Cases for Assignment, please bring them to the Committee.

    • As we do analysis on the data, please speak up, we need everyone's feedback to make the message successful.

      • If you have any messages that you need that do not fit into the standards we have today, please bring them up in the committee.

      • If you have scenarios within your organizations or you're looking for messages around the vehicle damage assignment to solve issues that are common within our industry where data would be exchanged in a standard way, please speak up.

      • For example, after the Assignment has been sent, do we need a message to see the status of the Assignment?

  • Webinar Thursday, April 25th will go over what Architecture has been working on for CAPIS and show the process of creating a new API.
