ANTITRUST STATEMENT
As participants in this meeting, we need to be mindful of the constraints of antitrust laws. There shall be no discussions of agreements or concerted actions that may restrain competition. This prohibition includes the exchange of information concerning individual prices, rates, coverages, market practices, claims settlement practices, or any other competitive aspect of an individual company’s operation. Each participant is obligated to speak up immediately for the purpose of preventing any discussion falling outside these bounds.
Operating Guidelines
To incorporate all potential business entities in the business processes of Claims Save Services.
To work with the Claims Save Committee to respond to committee goals and timelines.
To provide an open working relationship with the Claims Save Committee within the antitrust guidelines.
To approve the recommended changes to the Claims Save Service(s).

Background
The Claims Committee’s objective is electronically exchange messages relating to the design to manage and coordinate coverage for all claims resulting from a single accident, relation all the information to one electronic high level folder.
The Claims Committee consist started as a project from the VDI Committee, since it is a stand alone CIECA Product, it will have its own committee and the VDI standards documentation relating to Claims Save will be maintained under this committee.
Mission
CIECA’s Claims Committee’s goal is to develop and maintain messaging standards aimed to coordinate coverage for claims within the collision industry.
