ANTITRUST STATEMENT

As participants in this meeting, we need to be mindful of the constraints of antitrust laws. There shall be no discussions of agreements or concerted actions that may restrain competition. This prohibition includes the exchange of information concerning individual prices, rates, coverages, market practices, claims settlement practices, or any other competitive aspect of an individual company’s operation. Each participant is obligated to speak up immediately for the purpose of preventing any discussion falling outside these bounds.

  • Technical CIECAST for each Release

  • New Committees being proposed (Emerging Technology and Open API/JSON)

  • Committee open forum discussion to discuss your segment of the industry.

Meeting Minutes

  • Communication Campaign

    • CIECA Staff is putting together a Communication plan to help draw interest in the new committees starting January 2021.

  • VDI Committee

    • The messages seem to be solid and nothing needed at this time, there may be request for new code list in the future.

  • Total Loss Committee

    • These messages will probably be changing with the Artificial Intelligence that is becoming part of the industry.

    • The new Emerging Technology Committee may be able to help get some requirements to bring back to this team to work on the messages.
