ANTITRUST STATEMENT
As participants in this meeting, we need to be mindful of the constraints of antitrust laws. There shall be no discussions of agreements or concerted actions that may restrain competition. This prohibition includes the exchange of information concerning individual prices, rates, coverages, market practices, claims settlement practices, or any other competitive aspect of an individual company’s operation. Each participant is obligated to speak up immediately for the purpose of preventing any discussion falling outside these bounds.
Operating Guidelines
To incorporate all potential business entities in the business processes for Parts and Material Procurement Services.
To work with the Parts and Material Procurement Committee to respond to group goals and timelines.
To provide an open working relationship with the Parts and Material Procurement Committee within the antitrust guidelines.

Background
The Parts and Material Procurement Committe was created to work on the Parts and Procurement Mission and the standards that were needed to accomplish those standards.
Parts and Procurement was a CIECA Product that many CIECA Standards Development Committees collaborated on, these committees included CER, Glass, PMP, Recycled Parts and Inventory, Repair Order and Scanning and Diagnostics Committees.
In an effort to align the committees with the CIECA Products, the PMP Committee will be related to the PMP Services and all the other committee's documentation has been merged to have one set of data.
Mission
CIECA’s PMP Committee’s goal is to develop messaging standards and codes aimed at automating procurement of parts and materials activities. Standards will benefit insurers, independent appraisal services, repairers, and vehicle owners in expediting the repairing vehicle services.
All business needs will be identified to enable electronic procurement of parts and materials to move electronically between parties in the collision industry. Having standards enables the parts purchasing process to incorporate awareness of a business partners’ capacity. Input was derived from insurance carriers, repairers, parts distributors, recyclers, business management systems, third party intermediaries and software companies regarding all communications needed to complete the procurement and/or documentation of parts and materials within the collision industry.
