  • June: Erick Bickett presented yesterday and it was a very good presentation. There were no questions.

  • July: Andy Bober will present on R1. Site is updated and ready for registrations.

  • August: CARSTAR

  • September: Presentation will be on EV’s

CIECA Free Ad on SCRS

  • Stacey shared the comp of the ad. Paul provided the background an intent.

  • The general feedback was positive and supportive.

Group Discussion

  • Steve Betley suggested that RECALL’s have become a big deal in recent years. Is this something that CIECA should be addressing.

  • Ginny Whelan said there is a placeholder on the Recycled Parts & Inventory committee to address this.

  • Don Elliott shared that at least one industry group uses CarFax to access the information. It is free from CarFax or NHTSA.

  • Don Porter shared that his organization has been working to make recall info easier for recyclers to get.
