Antitrust Agreement and Meeting minutes acceptance
    • In the last meeting CIECA proposed the concept of Product based committees instead of the current structure that allowed 1 committee to impact many products. The Product based Committee will allow for all documentation for a Product to be together. For areas that we will have multiple Products impacted, we will have Project Committees.

    • SAB approved the move to the Products and Projects approach.

    • The Repair Order and Repair Status committees were moved to a Project Committee because the current meetings are set up for multiple committees.

      • At this time, the Repair Order and Repair Status Project will be closed and the appropriate committees will be activated for projects.

        • Repair Order is not part of Estimate

        • Vehicle Repair Status is a Product Committee

      • In the last meeting there was a lot of talk about the survey and the ways to work with getting Member Engagement; if you are interested in Member Engagement, we would like to invite you to the CIECA Marketing Committee. If you are interested, please reach out to Paulette or Stacey.

Up Next

      • In the last meeting we discussed CIECA Simplified and helping educate the members. If you are interested in Education of Members, we would like to invite you to the CIECA Education Committee. If you are interested, please reach out to Paulette or Stacey.

    • Kickoff OEM Repair Procedures

      • We need to find chairs that can help engage committee involvement and know enough about OEM Repair Procedures that they can help lead the discussions on the impact on the CIECA data and/or messages.

        • Everyone was very quiet today, so I nominated Phil (smile)

          • Phil said he would be happy to help lead the meetings but agreed we needed to reach out to find a co-chair that was more familiar with the OEM Repair Procedures and issues we needed to resolve.

          • Phil recommended reaching out to the Emerging Technologies committee to get recommendations.

          • The OEM Repair Procedures Committee will be a Project Committee.

    • Other Projects

      • AI is coming soon and we hope to get it approved through SAB this month and Marketing Material sent out

      • Referral should be able to be handled under the Assignment Product Committee; we will send Marketing Material out to get interest.

    • Paulette will set up a meeting with Jim, Chris and Kevin to discuss the Bluetooth standards and if we need a project for that.

Up Next

  • This meeting occurrence and Project will be closed. Look for invitations to New committees.
