ANTITRUST STATEMENT

As participants in this meeting, we need to be mindful of the constraints of antitrust laws. There shall be no discussions of agreements or concerted actions that may restrain competition. This prohibition includes the exchange of information concerning individual prices, rates, coverages, market practices, claims settlement practices, or any other competitive aspect of an individual company’s operation. Each participant is obligated to speak up immediately for the purpose of preventing any discussion falling outside these bounds.

    • We discussed Pete Tagliapietra’s idea of having a webinar about OEMs, collision repairers and insurance companies working together for the future benefit of the collision industry. Ginny and Don expressed concern about the information becoming a sales pitch and cautioned to ensure it does not become one-sided or focused on OEM parts. Dustin said it could be a good conversation if the right palerys are

    • We talked about the ideas Mitchell proposed to present, which included Automotive Trends in 2021; Leveraging the latest solutions to streamline the collision repair workflow; Diagnostic Data; and Future Vision: Glass Repair in 2021. The committee was very supportive of the idea of focusing on glass repair, especially due to the glass replacement and removal process and ensuring the vehicle is calibrated properly. We talked about asking Renee Cachillo from Safelite Solutions to present along with Mitchell since she has offered to in the past.

    • Stacey is going to reach out to the pr contact from Beep and Local Motors to find out more what their primary focus is.

    • Dustin suggested having a webinar on virtual estimating and Ginny suggested reaching out to Tradiebot re: virtual training.
