ANTITRUST STATEMENT

As participants in this meeting, we need to be mindful of the constraints of antitrust laws. There shall be no discussions of agreements or concerted actions that may restrain competition. This prohibition includes the exchange of information concerning individual prices, rates, coverages, market practices, claims settlement practices, or any other competitive aspect of an individual company’s operation. Each participant is obligated to speak up immediately for the purpose of preventing any discussion falling outside these bounds.

  - The September SAB meeting on the last Monday will be cancelled.

  - Paulette will share the PowerPoint that will be displayed, and each chair can coordinate slide and topics.

    - Kickoff was Aug 25, 2022
    - Meeting will be held Monthly, last Thursday of the month
    - Started working on the Project Plan with the Scope
      - Need to check on existing BMS standards and reuse what we can
      - Need standards for images and video
      - Security and confidentiality
      - Challenges in Implementation

  - Architecture Committee: Dan Webster
    - Working on the open API 0.1 Release
      - Working through Claim, Parties, Vehicle and Parts
      - A great deal of progress has been done with the schemas, code list, test instances, and build material
  - Calibration: Darrell Amberson
    - Kickoff October 13, 2022
    - Members have been reaching out with different pain points around calibration and ADAS. After a brief review with the members to discuss the pain points, it was agreed to have the Calibration Committee start up again.
  - Education Sub-Committee: Don Porter and Stacey Phillips
    - Update on CONNEX
      - Agenda is published on cieca.com and a booklet is being created for the event.
      - Hunter Engineer Tour
      - NABC Gifting
      - 83 Registered
    - Update on CIECAST
      - Thanks, Ginny, for recommending the August Speaker on Autonomous Vehicles, it was a topic that went over great in the industry.
      - September no CIECAST
      - October will be Technical
      - Nov/Dec is Telematics
  - Emerging Technologies Ad hoc Committee: Frank Terlep and Gene Lopez
    - We finished the review and education of 3D printing.
      - It was discovered there was no work for CIECA messages at this time.
    - Electrification was the next topic
      - This will be turned over to the EV Committee to review.
    - Third Party Privacy is the next topic we will need to review
      - It was determined, that like 3D printing, we needed to find speakers to help educate the committee
  - EV Committee: Frank Phillips, Jake Rodenroth and Ginny Whelan
    - Kickoff Pending
  - OEM Repair Procedure Committee - Mark Allen and Phil Martinez
    - Continued brainstorming to help create the scope and pain points or the industry for the Project Plan
    - Going to start working on workflows

    - Referral will impact FNOL and Assignment messages
    - Marketing is being worked on for this committee to be kicked off.
