Meeting Minutes

  • Welcome/Networking

  • Antitrust Accepted

  • Meeting Minutes Accepted

    • It was mentioned that Gene having the interns to wash his car did not make it into the last meeting minutes and we needed to make sure that was noted.

  • Mark did a demo of his system

    • After the demo it was discussed that we have seen a lot of great systems in our committee, at CONNEX and in webinars and with the systems having links and drilling down and all the moving parts, it would be hard to replicate that in a message.

    • Why can people not find repair procedures?

      • They do not have the correct subscriptions

        • In this case, we can add a document to help drive repairers to OEM One Stop to get the subscriptions they need.

        • Temporary subscriptions can be purchased.

    • Are the repair procedures for older models and need to go back to the books?

      • Everyone shook their head no .

    • It is believed after the research by this committee that we need to help the industry find the solutions that already exist and not recreate the wheel.

      • We can do this by adding to the CIECA Industry page to help everyone find what they are looking for.

    • We will review the Charter and create the necessary documentation for the industry.
