A number of regular committee members were unavailable for today’s meetings. Welcome to summer schedules . Due to this, we did not discuss the Versioning from last weeks discussion.
A request was sent out to the FNOL committee to get a FNOL production example based on the existing BMS. However, we did not receive any responses. In discussion with Andy Bober, he was looking at the FNOL that Entegral used to see if we could get an example. It was determined that Entegral’s FNOL does not use the BMS FNOL because it predates the BMS version.
Dan did provide a FNOL that he created with ALL of the BMS data elements and we reviewed it and the Excel sheet that compared the BMS to his version of the JSON FNOL.
The version was done before the Architecture Committee started slimming down the data aggregates, so there is more work to be done to get them in sync with our newest versions.
Document Info is flattened
Admin Info Flattened
Parties flattened
Accident Info flattened
Vehicle Occupants is worrisome because it has repeating admin Info.
Fleet Info also needed to be flattened.
Property Info should be Type, Address and description
These examples were created with the XML into JSON and then our style guide applied.
XML Spy is updated to work with the newest version of JSON.
AJV (JSON schema validator) is a tool that Mike was working with, but was still running into issues with it not supporting the new version. Mike is currently using XMLSpy and not having any issues with the new version of JSON.
Stoplight (Swagger competitor: an Open API Specification (OAS) UI, which leap-frogged Swagger by declaring support for OAS 3.1.) 1is another tool that is supposed to work with the new JSON Version, but nobody is using it at this time.
A lot is being accomplished, Mike and Paulette have some homework to create the schema for Vehicle Info and Claim Info for next week to review.
