ANTITRUST STATEMENT

As participants in this meeting, we need to be mindful of the constraints of antitrust laws. There shall be no discussions of agreements or concerted actions that may restrain competition. This prohibition includes the exchange of information concerning individual prices, rates, coverages, market practices, claims settlement practices, or any other competitive aspect of an individual company’s operation. Each participant is obligated to speak up immediately for the purpose of preventing any discussion falling outside these bounds.

  • TotalType, LaborType and RateType Code list currently have codes with 4 characters, however, we are running out of Labor Codes and we need to look at the impact of moving this code to 5 characters.

    • This will set the standards for moving forward with Open API

Meeting Minutes

  • Antitrust Agreed upon

  • Meeting minutes accepted

  • Big Thank you to everyone for helping make 2020R2 Release a success.

  • Meeting Occurrence was discussed because a few regulars were not in attendance. It was recommended that we keep the meeting as is unless it is a normal problem with people being able to attend.

  • The committee was good with the Release folder Contents. They said that they expected to see the BMS and the Code list and the Schemas. The JSON schemas were not available, but in review they were not available in the 2020R1 version either.

    • There was mention that Andy had a tool that generated these and to reach out to Andy to determine the correct solution. It was mentioned that Andy was on vacation for the week.

  • The committee worked on the working for repeating elements having a parent aggregate with ‘List’ at the end of the name. They would like Andy and Becky to review in the next meeting.

  • For the 2020R2 the Part Type code list added a new value ROE.

    • Members are concerned the ROE is a duplicate code of PAL.

      • PAL Part Type Description is Parts - Recycled OEM and ROE description is Recycled Original Equipment.

      • PAL in Rate Type and Total type has a description of Parts - Like Kind and Quality (LKQ)

    • ROE addition did not follow the rule of adding to Party Type, Rate Type and Total Type code lists; it is only in Part Type.

    • The codes and descriptions will be allowed for 2020R2 release, but the RP&I committee needs to be reached out to to discuss updating descriptions and adding the ROE to Rate Type and Part Type code list.

🤗Discussion ran over on time, sorry everyone. Have a Great week!
