ANTITRUST STATEMENT

As participants in this meeting, we need to be mindful of the constraints of antitrust laws. There shall be no discussions of agreements or concerted actions that may restrain competition. This prohibition includes the exchange of information concerning individual prices, rates, coverages, market practices, claims settlement practices, or any other competitive aspect of an individual company’s operation. Each participant is obligated to speak up immediately for the purpose of preventing any discussion falling outside these bounds.

  • In the past an invitation is sent out from CIECA to the industry after review of the board to determine the New committee and the direction.

    • The above will need to be included, as well as OEM and battery on the invitation

  • We need to discuss with the CIECA board if this is something we want to reach out to the industry with or something we are going to keep to the recyclers.

  • Will we need a new EV committee?

    • Electric Cars is an industry in itself

      • Growing numbers in the market

      • Repairs are changing

      • Distribution is changing

      • Battery charging stations

    • Batteries are already in the recyclers

  • What Business Problems are we trying to solve?

    • Audience collision industry or Recyclers ?

    • What are the challenges we are trying to solve.

  • Questions/Objectives/Issues:

    • Intake – Identification of EV parts

    • EV does not have same parts as vehicle parts

      • Parts are reduced but the technology is more difficult

      • Speakers to make noise so people can hear them

    • How to facilitate EV parts to other others
